Improving Daily Usability in a Competitive Benefits Market
Pluxee needed to unify key benefit-card functions into a single mobile application. The goal was to give users an easy way to:
- Check account balance
- View transaction history
- Track expiring credit and daily limits
Competition among benefit-card providers is high, so improving day-to-day usability and keeping customers engaged was essential.
Work began in 2017 and continues today with iterative enhancements, UX improvements, new features, and ongoing application support.
Solution
A Native Mobile Application for Account Overview, Location Search, and Targeted Communication
Adastra built a native iOS and Android application focused on personal account management for Pluxee benefit card users.
To help customers find where their card is accepted, the app includes a location map of restaurants and stores, with navigation support that guides users to selected venues.
Pluxee uses custom push notifications to send relevant information to specific user groups or individuals. Marketing messages were integrated using Storyly.io, enabling in-app visual content similar to social stories. This allows targeted promotions and personalised communication without overhauling the application backend.
The application is continuously improved, both technically and functionally, under a long-term collaboration.
