AI or a Chaotic Zoo? Without a Clear Strategy, Companies Risk System Failure, Adastra Experts Tell Forbes
November 28, 2025
What happens when companies start deploying AI tools without a clear strategy?
According to Ondřej Vaněk, Chief AI Officer at Adastra, the result can easily turn into an “agent zoo” — hundreds or even tens of thousands of AI agents running simultaneously, overloading the infrastructure and driving costs up. “It’s a race to squeeze money out of AI. But once you look at real business needs, it stops being simple,” he says in the new episode of the Forbes BrandVoice podcast.

The podcast also highlights that up to 60% of AI projects will fail by 2026, often because companies lack clarity on where AI actually adds value. David Kaláb, Vice President of Data Management at Adastra, compares AI to an engine that simply cannot perform without high-quality data. Companies frequently invest in cutting-edge technology, he says, but without strong data foundations, the risks only grow.
The episode also features Václav Dorazil from Eurowag, who explains that successful AI adoption doesn’t require overhauling the entire company. When experiments are kept separate from core operations and clear rules are defined, the impact can be tested quickly and scaled safely.
