About the event

Join Taiga and Adastra for a walkthrough of end-to-end supply chain optimization, including demand forecasting and inventory right-sizing, skills-aware scheduling, route/stop sequencing, and load/cube optimization.

Many organizations feel they need to take on large, complex AI initiatives to see value, or that they’re behind if they haven’t started. In reality, the most effective approach is to begin with a focused use case, take small, calculated steps, and expand over time.

We’ll ground the session in proven outcomes from manufacturers and retailers who modernized their data and applied AI and automation to day-to-day planning—cutting planning effort from hours to minutes, reducing fleet and freight spend, improving fulfillment speed, and lowering emissions. Without ripping out existing systems.

A key theme throughout the session is that the biggest barrier to AI adoption isn’t technology but rather change management. Success comes from embedding AI into existing ways of working and enabling teams to learn, adapt, and scale over time.

Customer Spotlight: Taiga (End-to-End Transformation)

Taiga Head of IT, Hanif Jassani, will share how they approached transformation incrementally across three high-impact areas:

  • Forecasting and demand planning: predictive models built from real-time inventory and sales data—used internally to prepare production needs, and extended to customers so they can anticipate demand and reduce manual ordering. Taiga even enables auto-generated, pre-filled e-commerce carts, allowing customers to fine-tune quantities for seasonality or special orders.
  • Route planning and logistics optimization: once an order is placed, Taiga optimizes delivery planning to determine the ideal truck size and stop sequence for better cost-to-serve and reliability.
  • Crate/truck loading optimization: Taiga recently transformed load building for a complex product mix (lumber, flooring, insulation), applying strict stacking rules and safety constraints to prevent errors and inefficiencies. What used to take 8 hours of manual planning now takes ~3 minutes, followed by fast quality checks—unlocking a step-change in daily throughput and execution consistency.

What Attendees Will Take Away

  • A clear view of how AI connects planning → fulfillment across the supply chain
  • Real examples of measurable ROI from forecasting, scheduling, routing, and loading
  • Practical guidance on where to start based on your biggest constraint (inventory, labor, transport, or fulfillment)
  • A practical approach to adopting AI through incremental steps and effective change management

Next Step: From Inspiration to Action

To help teams move from ideas to execution, all qualified attendees will receive a fully funded AI Day workshop—a guided envisioning session to:

  • Define a supply chain optimization roadmap using AI and automation

  • Brainstorm and prioritize high-value use cases

  • Establish a timeline, KPI framework, and ROI model for adoption

AI day is designed to help teams identify the right starting point, take a focused, low-risk approach, and build momentum by providing value early – before expanding further.

Designed to align stakeholders quickly, AI Day helps you leave with a clear, action-oriented plan.
