I don’t just deal with code — I work with people too. For more than three years at Adastra, I’ve been combining Big Data Engineering with recruitment, mentoring, and a People Lead role. This allows me not only to go deep into technical areas but also to grow in leading people. I work in both on-premises and cloud environments for clients, using platforms such as Cloudera and Databricks. I regularly use SQL, Spark, Python, and Bash. I conduct interviews, provide mentoring, and I’m also responsible for the development of team members. This kind of role flexibility is something I enjoy and that motivates me to keep progressing.

I was drawn to ABC’s international exposure, strength in data analytics, and deep industry expertise. The team’s friendliness, commitment to diversity, and willingness to share real insights stood out during the process. It was clear they take the time to know you – across all levels, from consultants to the CEO.

After 10 months of traveling across Latin America, I joined Adastra on a friend’s recommendation – and it turned out to be a perfect match! Thanks to my amazing colleagues, I discovered what truly excites me and where my strengths lie. I’ve gained experience in a variety of areas – from testing and planning to data visualization. Today, I help companies see the insights in their data that can drive them forward.
