Škoda Auto University is opening a new subject ‘Introduction to Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence’ in the summer semester of 2023/2024 as part of its in-person teaching. The subject will be located at the Department of Quantitative Methods and was developed in collaboration with Adastra, a long-term strategic partner of the university involved in several of its activities.

The professional guarantor of the subject is Ing. Dagmar Bínová, Ph.D., whose professional career has been focused on the areas of Big Data and Data Science and their application in the businesses of major Czech companies, particularly banks, telecommunication operators, and other firms including Škoda Auto. In addition to Dagmar Bínová, other experts from Adastra will also contribute to teaching various disciplines of data analytics and artificial intelligence, such as data management, data governance, data visualization, data science, machine learning, etc.

Introduction to Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence is chosen by students as an elective subject, not only intended for students of the Business Economics and Managerial Informatics program, but also available for students from other programs and specializations at SAVS.
