At the Czech Circular Hotspot meeting, panel discussions with international guests, introductions of new members, and workshops took center stage, welcoming Adastra along with companies like Nestlé, Koma-Modular, and others as newcomers. The event took place at the newly opened Circular Hub in Prague’s Hybernská Campuson the last day of October.

Ivana Karhanová, Adastra’s marketing director, mentioned, “During the panel discussion, we engaged in talks about plastic decarbonization and showcased our smart pallet tracking using our IoT platform.”
The circular economy is rapidly evolving. “We are seeking a balance between environmental sustainability and economic prosperity,” said Pavel Zedníček, the executive and financial director of the Institute of Circular Economy, who moderated the meeting.
Freek van Eijk, the founder and director of the Dutch hotspot, emphasized the importance of starting circular economy practices within companies, particularly in waste management.

Sabine Oberhuber, the founder of the Turntoo platform focusing on building sustainability, sees significant potential in the circular economy. She pointed out the necessity for a change in current business and service models, work styles, customer engagement, and legislation.
