TORONTO - August 13, 2018 - Adastra, the leading specialist in Big Data and Analytics solutions and services, has announced their sponsorship and participation in the CIBC Run for the Cure for the fifth consecutive year. The CIBC Run for the Cure is a movement across the country that honours the lives of those touched by breast cancer and creates a future without the risk of acquiring the disease, for generations to come.
Adastra first became involved with the event in 2014 when Team Captain, Shannon Corless, was diagnosed with breast cancer. In that year, a small group of colleagues joined together to form the “Adastra Avengers,” raising awareness and kicking-off an annual fight, which has grown throughout the company. This year they hope to surpass their previous fundraising efforts and reach $15,000, which will support 300 hours of life saving research.
If you would like to join Team Adastra on September 30th, either in the 5 KM run or 1 KM walk, please register yourself, friends, and family below. Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive fundraising tools, tips, and support to help you reach your personal fundraising goals as well as an Adastra Team t-shirt for the race day.
Alternatively, if you’re unable to participate in the walk itself, and the best way for you to contribute is through donation; you can access Adastra’s online donor page here. All employee donations will be matched in full by Adastra Corporation and tax receipts will be distributed to donors within 24 hours or prior to February 28th, 2019 if done off-line.
