GTS CE was established in 1993 and now has more than 1300 employees with EUR 384.5m revenue and EUR 86.0m EBITDA (2009). Global telecommunication magazine Capacity chose GTS CE group as the best wholesale carrier in Central and Eastern Europe in 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010.

The Project:

An older version of Adastra Wholesale Billing (AWSB) played the role of the key system for wholesale operations in GTS Novera (Czech Republic) and several smaller telecommunications operators such as Contactel and Aliatel acquired by GTS Novera. Having experienced stability, performance and most importantly great functionality supporting agile pricing and least-cost routing of telecommunication traffic, GTS Central Europe decided to set AWSB as a group standard, extending its capability and implementing it in two other major CEE countries, Poland and Hungary. The new AWSB is hosted and supported in Prague for all 3 countries. This significantly reduces total cost of ownership and enables GTS CE to maintain the same functionality, respect country-specific requirements, and implement changes quickly across the region.
